DESCRIPTION:
Unsigned Connecticut iron-case 8-day time & strike mantel clock, C.1855.
CONDITION:
Original black paint with some losses, large MOP pieces in place along with unusual use of numerous small flecks for the decoration. Original painted dial faded with some losses. Wooden case back in good condition. Movement (no visible maker name) ticks and strikes hours on bell but could use cleaning. Ht.14".
